The Thomas Jefferson Law Review

civil and criminal law or procedure. Book

Requirements:

1. Form
-
Manuscripts must be typed and should be
double-spaced. Margins of one inch
should be provided on all sides of typed
pages. Footnotes rather than endnotes
should be submitted in the same
document. Computer disks should be
available upon request. For electronic
submissions, we accept all file formats,
including Microsoft Word, Word Perfect,
and PDF.

2. Citations

Textual and citation form should comply
with that prescribed for law reviews in
A Uniform System of Citation
(18th ed. 2005). Case names in text
should be in italics, while case
citations in footnotes should not be
underlined.

3. Timeliness
-
The TJLR prefers articles that are
timely as well as original. Citations
should be as current as possible at the
time of submission.

4. Cover Letter
-
Included with the manuscript should be a
cover letter containing the author's
full name, address and telephone number,
academic degrees and the name of the
awarding institution(s), and any
professional affiliations of the author.
The cover letter should also contain a
brief synopsis of the article.
